FAQ

What is the process of buying a print?

Instead of having my customers buy directly through an online store, I prefer to converse with each customer individually to make sure they

are getting just what they want and to have that personal interaction with them,

helping them with their purchase; giving advice, discuss pick up, delivery or shipping and arrange payment.

Once you have decided on an image you like, fill out the form which is at the bottom of each gallery page or email to arrange it.

Generally, once you are happy with everything,

We will send you an invoice for the print, then we will start the process of getting it printed for you

and if required getting the framing or canvas stretching done.

Once finished, we will either ship the print or email you back and arrange delivery or pickup.

How much is shipping?

Within Australia, shipping will be charged at $20 for unframed & un-stretched prints.

This includes a mailing tube and costs for regular shipping.

You will be emailed a tracking number.

International shipping will be quoted individually.

Framed or stretched canvas shipping quoted individually.

Can you ship framed prints or stretched canvas prints?

Shipping of framed or stretched prints is quite hard and expensive. The amount of packing needed to ensure it

is safe is quite prohibitive. For this reason, we prefer to send unframed or un-stretched prints, and recommend you then

take it to a local framers near you. We are happy to advise you with what to ask for from your local framers.

If you still would like us to get the framing or stretching done we can arrange a quote from a courier.

How do I know the quality is of a high standard without seeing it?

Do you have a gallery or shop?

Not having a gallery any longer, it is difficult to show people in person the quality of Pete’s prints and framing.

But rest assured that we only use the absolute best fine art printing business, who use very high end printing machines

and inks on premium quality fine art paper and canvas.

See the details about our printer HERE

Pete personally inspects every print for any defects before hand signing (and numbering if limited edition) each print.

The same can be said for our framing. We have worked with our framers for many years now and have impeccable attention to detail.

Again, Pete inspects every framing job before the customer receives it.

We use 44 Frame Factory exclusively because of their exceptional quality and reliability.

Do you do lessons or workshops?

Pete used to do one on one lessons, weekend group tours down the Great Ocean Road, and 7 day workshop tours to

New Zealand. But since covid he has stopped doing them. He may look at some sort of weekend tours in the future again,

but in the meantime there are no lessons, tours or workshops available sorry.

Do you do other types of photography such as weddings?

Pete does commercial photography and videography as well as his fine art landscape work.

But he doesn’t do weddings any longer.
